ST. PAUL, MINN. – The Luther women's track and field team finished 12^th out of 15 teams at the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic hosted by Macalester College. Annika Elco was the top finisher finishing third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.48.
 
The other teams in the competition field were University of Minnesota-Duluth, St. Olaf, Bethel, Gustavus Adolphus, Concordia-St.Paul, Carleton, Macalester, St. Cloud State, Hamline, Augsburg, Northwestern (MN), St. Kate's, Martin Luther, and North Central (MN).
 
Erika Roth set a new personal best in the 60-meter hurdles. Mia Lung and Annika Veit set new best times in the mile run.
 
Next up is the Dutch Winter Multi-Meet hosted by Central. The two-day meet begins on Thursday, Jan. 29 through Friday, Jan. 30 in Pella, Iowa.
