The women's tennis team traveled to Waverly, Iowa to begin the dual match schedule and returned home with two victories. The Norse started the day with a 7-0 victory over Wartburg College and followed that win with a 7-0 victory over non-conference opponent UW-River Falls. 

In the Wartburg match, the Norse dropped just three games in doubles and won all six singles matches in straight sets.

Against UW-River Falls, the Norse won two of three doubles matches and won five of six singles matches in straight sets.

The two wins gives Luther an overall record of 2-0.
