Luther traveled to Loras College this afternoon and improved to 3-0 in the American Rivers Conference after defeating the Duhawks 7-0. The Norse lost just three games en route to sweeping doubles and won five of the six singles matches in straight sets. 

Abby Ostermann at No. 1 singles secured the fifth point of the match posting a hard fought (6-4, 4-6, 10-5) win over Mary Breitbach. Allie Christian at No.2, Lena Lichau at No. 3, Julianna Mascardo at No. 4, Ale Villanueva at No. 5 and Rafaela Queiroga Tavares at No. 6 all won in straight sets.

In doubles, Lichau and Abby Stuble won (6-0) at No. 3, Mascardo and Ostermann won at No. 2 (6-2), and Christensen and Moreno won at No. 1 (6-1).

This Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19-20, Luther will travel to St. Peter, Minn., and Gustavus Adolphus College for the annual ITA Midwesst Regional Tournament.
