DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther men's cross country team won the 52nd Luther All-American.
Jack Bode won the meet with a time of 21:16.4 in the 4-mile race. The scoring five runners were all in the top-ten.
Luther won the event with 22 points followed by Luther Alumni with 48 points and Augustana (IL) in third with 66 points. The Minnesota Running Club was fourth with 85 points.
The top-five for the Norse was Bode (1st - 1 pt - 21:16.4),
Michel Heinrich (2nd - 2 pts - 21:28.7),
Jacob Bruns (4th - 4 pts - 21:49.4),
Kurt Lebakken (7th - 6pts - 21:58.5) and
Christian Montover (10th - 9 pts - 22:03.9).
Also in the top-seven was
Jalen Taha (15th - 22:21.3) and
Johnny Fox (19th - 22:32.2).
The next race for the Norse will be the Blugold Invite hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The meet will take place at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis. on Friday, Oct. 3 at 4:15 p.m.
