CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced the 2025-26 Women's Tennis Coaches' Preseason Poll on Monday. The Luther women's tennis team was picked to finish second with 59 points and three first place votes.
Last season the Norse finished the 2024-25 season with a 13-10 overall record and 8-0 in conference play winning the regular season championship. Head coach
Adam Strand leads the team for his 15th season and returns five All-Conference players including
Julia Moreno,
Abby Ostermann,
Lena Lichau,
Julianna Mascardo and
Allie Christensen.
"We are excited for the upcoming season and look forward to another competitive year in the American Rivers Conference," said Strand.
The Norse begin the season on Saturday, Aug. 30 at the Warhawk Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Matches begin at 9 a.m.
