INDIANOLA, Iowa - In the opening round of the American Rivers Conference Tournament, no. 3 seed Nebraska Wesleyan defeated no. 6 seed Luther 5-1. The Norse finish the season with an overall record of 23-18 and 8-8 in the A-R-C. 

In the top of the first, Raven Allen led off the game with a single. Mya Larsen followed with a bunt single and a errant throw by the Paririe Wolves allowed Allen time to score for a 1-0 early lead. 

Nebraska Wesleyan took their first lead of the game in the bottom of the third as they scored five runs on three hits and Luther committed three errors. The Prarire Wolves won the game 5-1. 

Evie Strigel was 2-3 at the plate with one double. Allen and Larsen were both 1-3 on the day. 

Olivia Engler allowed five runs on five hits with two walks and five strikeouts. None of the runs were earned.
