DECORAH, Iowa - Kailey Jones and
Natalie Beaver both recorded double-doubles in the Luther women's basketball 81-68 victory over Coe College. The Norse outscored the Kohawks in every quarter which included 27 in the fourth quarter. Luther also had the advantage in rebounds (43-27) and points in the paint (38-22). The Norse earn a critical victory in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) improving to 8-6 with two games remaining.
Beaver recorded her second double-double of the season and first since the game at North Central (Nov. 20, 2024) with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jones tallied her 15th double-double and fifth straight with 20 points and 17 rebounds.
Kate Hosking chipped in 14 points and
Nastya Cicala went 4-9 from beyond the arc for 12 points.
The shooting by Luther was strong all night as they shot 48.4 percent (30-62) from the field, 36.8 percent (7-19) from the arc and 77.8 percent (14-18) at the free throw line.
The Norse overall record improves to 15-8.
Coe drops to 17-5 overall and 9-4 in the A-R-C.
