NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Luther women's wrestling team competed at the Gator 'Boots' Duals for the first time ever. The event hosted by Luther welcomed women's teams for the second straight year. Four Norse wrestlers made the trip including Nina Yankey, Lexi Timmerman, Lucy Miller and Grace Rinehardt. 

Lucy Miller was 2-0 with one win by fall over Doniya Anwari of Lock Haven University (3:00) and one win by decision over Kat Hurley of Mount Union 10-9. She picked up her first two wins in her career. 

Rinehardt finished 2-1 with a win by fall and one decision. She defeated Miazion Warren of Randolph College (VA) by fall (1:14) and Gianna Perez of Ursinus College (PA) by decision 3-2. 

Luther will return to competition in the new year on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Cliff Keen-Mike Duroe Invitational hosted by Cornell College. The event begins at 9 a.m. in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
