STEVENS POINTS, Wis. – The Luther women's wrestling team took to the mat in competition for the first time at the Pointer Women's Open hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Kylie Miller is the first ever place winner for the Norse finishing fifth in the 160 weight class. All wrestlers competed in the purple division.
Grace Rinehart was 4-2 in the 160 bracket picking up two wins by fall, one by tech fall and one decision.

Kelsey Knief wrote the history books becoming the first women's wrestler to win a match.
Up next the Norse will host the Luther Open on Saturday, Nov. 15. Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. in Decorah, Iowa.
