WAVERLY, Iowa - The Luther men's cross country team was back in action after a few weeks off finishing 9th out of 16 teams at the Dan Huston Invite hosted by Wartburg.
Michel Heinrich was the top finisher for the Norse finishing 45th overall out of 278 total runners with a time of 26:29.1.
The top-five for the Norse was Heinrich (45th - 24 pts - 26:29.1),
Jalen Taha (86th - 50 pts - 27:21.1),
Jacob Bruns (102nd - 59 pts - 27:34.5),
Kurt Lebakken (103rd - 60 pts - 27:35.2) and
Philip Dahlen (105th - 62 pts - 27:38.6).
Rounding out the top-seven was Tirfe Horvick (112th - 27:45.5) and
Matthew Binsfeld (118th - 27:55.2).
