The women's tennis team wrapped up its fall schedule at the 2025 American Rivers Conference Individual Tournament. The two-day event was held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Norse tallied two third place finishes in Flight A singles and doubles and a second place finish in Flight C singles.
Allie Christensen and
Julia Moreno placed third in the Flight A doubles. They defeated teammates
Julianna Mascardo and
Abby Ostermann (6-4). Both duos were eliminated from the championship bracket in the semifinal round by teams from Coe College.Â
In Flight A singles,
Rafaela Queiroga Tavares defeated Aisha Dolker Gurung of Coe (2-4, 5-3 (12-10)) in the third place match. Tavares advanced to the semifinals of the 32-player bracket before being eliminated by Sophia Fain of Coe (4-2, 4-1).
In Flight C singles, Avery Schifsky-Sequin, faced Sarah Wilde from the University of Dubuque in the championship match and was defeated (4-2, 0-4, 8-10).Â
