DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther women's soccer team fell to the University of Wisconsin Platteville 1-0 on Tuesday night. The Pioneers scored just five minutes into the first half. 
Down by one, 
Sofia Biedermann lined up a shot to the bottom right corner by the Pioneer goalkeeper was there to make the save in the 22nd minute. The UW-Platteville goalie made four saves in the first half.
In the 59th minute, 
Cassiah James fired a shot towards the post forcing the Pioneer goalie to make a leaping save. The Norse were rallying late and James took another shot in the 86th but the Pioneers held on for a 1-0 victory.
Luther tallied 12 shots on the night with five on goal. The Norse are now 0-3 on the season while UW-Platteville improves to 2-0.
