No. 5 seed Loras College defeated No. 3 Luther 14-2 in seven innings tonight in Cedar Rapids. The loss knocked the Norse out of the A-R-C Tournament.

Loras tallied 17 hits and scored six runs in the first, two in the second, one in the third, four in the fourth and one in the fifth en route to the win. Luther scored a run in both the third and seventh frames.

The Norse had six hits. Peyton Lindmark posted the lone multiple hit game going 2-for-3. Kyle Morony was the only player to be credited with an rbi.

The Norse used seven pitchers in the this game and combined they allowed 13 earned runs, walked four and struck out five.

The loss gives Luther an overall record of 28-15.
