Luther traveled to St. Mary's University located in Winona, Minn., for its first road trip of the year. After six scoreless innings, the Norse scored two in the seventh. The Cardinals answered with one in the bottom of the seventh and three in the eighth. Luther scored a run in the top of the ninth and had the tying run on second with one out, but were unable to send the game into extra innings.
Peyton Lindmark led the Norse attack going 2-for-5 from the lead-off slot and drove in two runs. Designated hitter

Ryan Manternach got the start and tossed five scoreless innings. He allowed five hits, did not issue a walk and struck out six. The trio of

The Norse will return to action on March 2-3 and when they will travel to Rock Island, Ill., to play a three-game series at Augustana-Rock Island. Saturday's double header will begin at Noon, and Sunday's single game will also start at Noon.
