MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - The Luther men's track and field team began their season at the Cornell Winter Classic on Friday, Dec. 6.
Owen Ford won the high jump with a mark of 1.85m in his first collegiate meet. No team scores were kept at the meet.
60-meter dash -
Leif Carey-Odden - 6th - 7.36
60-meter hurdles - Ashten Schultz - 6th - 9.24 - His time ranks tied for ninth all-time.
High Jump - Ford (1st - 1.85m), Schultz (3rd - 1.80m),

Tancrede Lefort - 4th - 5.90m
Pole Vault - Carey-Odden - 2nd - 3.05m
Weight Throw -
Joey Mehlhorn (4th - 12.75m),
Joseph Dahl (8th - 9.99m)
The 4x200 relay team of Schultz, Ford, Lefort and Carey-Odden finished second with a time of 1:35.00. Carey-Odden chased down two team on the home stretch to claim second place.
