DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther women's soccer team dropped their first American Rivers Conference contest in a 6-0 loss to Simpson on Wednesday. The Storm scored two goals in the first half and four in the second half. The Norse are 1-6-5 overall and 1-1-1 in the A-R-C.
In the 60th minute,
Sofia Biedermann had a chance to get Luther on the board taking a low shot to the right but the Storm goalkeeper was there to make the stop.Â
Ten minutes later,
Katelyn Lynch lobbed a shot that was narrowly punched out of the top right corner of the goal. Â
Biedermann led the team with three shots and two on frame.
Megan Miller and Laruen Linkletter each tallied two shots.Â
Simpson improved its record to 8-0-3 and 2-0 in the A-R-C.Â
