DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther women's soccer team dropped their first American Rivers Conference contest in a 6-0 loss to Simpson on Wednesday. The Storm scored two goals in the first half and four in the second half. The Norse are 1-6-5 overall and 1-1-1 in the A-R-C.
In the 60th minute, 
Sofia Biedermann had a chance to get Luther on the board taking a low shot to the right but the Storm goalkeeper was there to make the stop. 
Ten minutes later, 
Katelyn Lynch lobbed a shot that was narrowly punched out of the top right corner of the goal.  
Biedermann led the team with three shots and two on frame. 
Megan Miller and Laruen Linkletter each tallied two shots. 
Simpson improved its record to 8-0-3 and 2-0 in the A-R-C.
