For the first time since 2009 the men's swimming and diving team faced Gustavus Adolphus College. The Gusties, ranked No. 7 in the Central Region hosted the Norse and posted a 179-58 victory. This was the 20th time the two teams faced each other in a dual meet.
Colin Halverson tallied a first place finish in one-meter diving (261.05), and was second in three-meter diving (227.00), one of the six runner-up finishes the Norse recorded for the afternoon. Also placing second in their respective events included
Nico Shrestha in the 100 butterfly,
Kevin Kretz in the 100 freestyle,
Gabe Armstrong in the 100 breaststroke,
Owen McCredie in the 500 freestyle and the 200 freestyle relay of Kretz,
Jake Walz,
Drew Chamberlain and Shrestha.
Third place finishes were posted by Kretz in the 200 freestyle, Chamberlain in the 100 backstroke, and the 200 medley relay of Chamberlain,
Gabe Armstrong, Shrestha and Walz.
