After yesterday's wash out of two games due to rain, Luther began its final day in Clermont, Florida facing the Gators of Allegheny College.
Following two scoreless innings, the Norse posted back-to-back four-run third and fourth innings and defeated the Gators 8-0 in five.
Leah Crown led-off the top of the third with a solo shot over the left field fence. When the dust had settled, the Norse had batted around the order and combined for four hits.Â
In the fourth, eight batters stepped in to the box for the Norse and the combination of a Gator error and four hits sealed the deal for the win.
Abby Spore led the offensive attack driving in two runs.

Sam Thompson (7-2) continued to pitch well tossing a three-hit shutout. Thompson faced 19 batters, walked one and struck out four.
The win gives Luther an overall record of 10-5. Allegheny is now 3-9
