Luther hosted Carleton College for a non-conference match this afternoon. The Knights jumped out to a 3-0 lead sweeping doubles, and then won three of six singles matches to secure the victory.

Sofia Sackett, Bruna Costa and Montserrat Ramirez-Mainou posted wins for the Norse in singles. Sackett defeated Ingrid Smith at No. 3 (6-3, 6-1). Costa and Ramirez-Mainou both won conme-from-behind third set tie-breakers. Costa defeated Amanda Black (0-6, 6-3, 11-9), while Ramirez-Mainou defeated Taylor Thulson (1-6, 6-0, 10-4).

The loss gives Luther an overall record of 3-2. This was the first dual meet of the year for the Knights.
