Luther, the No. 4 seed for the six-team American Rivers Conference Tournament, traveled to regular season champions and top-seed University of Dubuque tonight for a semifinal match at Oyen Field. After a scoreless first half, the Spartans scored three times in a span of 13 minutes in the second frame and posted a 3-0 victory.

Gloire Luwara scored what proved to be the game winner at 65:42. The goal was his 13th of the year. Draek Littler (7) scored four minutes later at 69:51, and Lucas Von Braun (3) completed the evening with a goal at 78:26.

Both goalkeepers were credited with four saves. Dubuque had 11 shots and Luther had eight. Corner kicks were even at five apiece.

Luther ends its season with an overall record of 10-7-3. Dubuque improved to 13-3-1 and will host Loras College for the championship match on Saturday. The winner of the championship match will earn the league's automatic berth to the NCAA III Nation Tournament.
