Aquatics Center

The Luther Aquatics Center will be open for lap swim hours for all current and incoming students, faculty and staff and their immediate family, and community pass holders. An Aqua Aerobics group meets from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Aquatic Center Hours

Starting Tuesday, September 2nd we will have access for Aquatic Center users. The pool will be accessible via the North Doors of the Gerdin Fieldhouse directly onto the pool deck by the diving boards as construction will limit building access through the start or the year. All Aquatic Center users need to scan ID Cards to confirm active membership upon entry. Locker Rooms will NOT be accessible. A full bathroom directly off the pool deck will open until renovations conclude.

The Aquatic Center, located on the lower campus, houses the David E.G. and Patricia Miller Natatorium, featuring a 25-yard, eight-lane pool with separate one-meter and three-meter diving well and a shallow area for swimming lessons, adaptive physical education classes, and water aerobics. It also includes three-meter springboards, state-of-the-art timing equipment, a large LED scoreboard, and seating for 280 spectators. The pool was built using LEED design standards to meet Luther College's goal of sustainability.

Entrances to the pool venue are located on both the north and south ends of the Gerdin Fieldhouse. From the north entrance, the pool is located to the left through the concession stand area, up one flight of stairs and follow the hallway to the spectator entrances. From the south entrance, the pool is located to the right through the lobby of the Gerdin Fieldhouse, up one flight of stairs and follow the hallway to the spectator entrances.
