The American Rivers Conference has announced that Luther College senior Anneke Knauss (Edmonton Alberta, Canada/Unity Christian, Orange City, Iowa) has been named the women's cross country Performer of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. This is the first time she has been so honored.

Knauss was the first Norse runner to cross the finish line during the Luther - UW-La Crosse dual meet held Friday, Oct. 22, that the Eagles won 21-38. Knauss covered the 5K course (3.11 miles) with a time of 19:59.76. There were 24 runners that finished the race.
