A 2012 graduate of Luther, Bruce begins his fourth season with the Norse Track and Field Team and first full season as the Head Track and Field Coach. Clark has led the Norse sprints, jumps and hurdles crew to five new schools records (Brandon Deas - 60m Dash, Annika Elco - 60m Hurdles, Mya Ploor - Pole Vault, Abby Faulk - Pole Vault, Men's 4x100m) and two all-conference performers (Cole Peters - 400m Hurdles, Brandon Deas - 60m Dash) in his first three years, As well as a number of top-10 performances in the sprints, jumps and hurdles crew.
Prior to returning to Luther, he served as the head boys and girls track and field coach at Lewiston-Altura High School. During his eight years, Clark was responsible for major growth and development within the program, nearly doubling his combined roster size to account for participation from 24 percent of the student body. Under Clark's tutelage, the boys track and field team rose from ninth in the conference to section champions in 2019 and placed second at the Minnesota Class A State Championships that same season. He coached 11 athletes who won conference titles and 19 that qualified for the state championships.
While at Luther, Clark was a four-year letter winner for the Norse football team and was named defensive Rookie of the Year and Special Teams MVP.
