Terry is a 2001 graduate of Luther, where he lettered all four years and earned the Golf Coaches Association of America All-America Scholar Award. Terry played high school golf at Southland High School in Adams, Minn. He was four-time all-conference performer, a two-time sub-section medalist, and a one-time conference medalist.
Tipton also earned a master’s degree from the University of Washington Milgard School of Business. He held consulting and leadership positions in the financial services industry and has a strong track record of leading and contributing to high performing teams.
Terry, his wife Mary Duvall, and son Max, live in Decorah and are members at Luther’s home course, Oneota Golf & Country Club. Mary is the Vice President for Development at Luther.
