Second season with the Norse…also a member of the basketball team…set the 4x400 meet record at the Drake Alternative (2025) which ranks ninth all-time...member of the 4x100 relay that ranks third all-time (42.46 - 2025)…while at Decorah High School, he was a two-year letter winner and was named first-team all-conference and first-team all-substate…he also set school records for single-season and career three-pointers made…a three-sport athlete, he earned all-conference honors in football and was a three-time state qualifier in track and field…he was a three-time all-district all-academic team award winner…member of National Honors Society…son of Mark (men's basketball head coach) and Kris Franzen.
