Biography
Shrestha enters his senior campaign looking to add to his 12 all-conference honors (top-3 finishes) he has earned at the first two official A-R-C Swimming & Diving Championships…he has earned all-conference honors twice in the 100 freestyle, once in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly, twice in both the 200 and 400 medley relay and once in the 200 freestyle relay, and twice in the 800 freestyle relay…individually, he ranks fourth all-time in the 100 freestyle (47.12), fourth in the 50 butterfly (23.69), and eighth in the 100 butterfly (52.32)…while at Hopkins High School, he was a six-year letter winner…he was a Lake Conference all-conference performer four times and was twice named all-area and all-state…he also qualified for the Minnesota State Championships…son of Jay and Pam Shrestha.
