Luther College

2022-23: Marquardt placed in three events for the Norse at the A-R-C Championships in 2022-23. As a senior, he earned top-8 finishes in the 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle and 200 freestyle races, scoring points for Luther in all three races. Marquardt earned a fifth place finish in the 500 freestyle with a personal best time of 5:00.50 before finishing sixth in the 1650 with another PR time of 17:43.85. Marquart also finished seventh in the 200 free, clocking a time of 1:57.37.

High School: While at Decorah High School he lettered three times in cross country and soccer while also earning a letter in swimming. He was named academic all-conference in swimming. He also was an all-conference performer as a junior in cross country and a member of the National Honor Society.
