During his career, Wenger has been named to the A-R-C Winter Sports All-Academic Team twice…Chi Alpha Sigma inductee…he was also named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District in 2023…while at West Delaware High School, Wenger was a four-year letter winner in swimming and cross country for the Hawks…he was named academic all-conference in both sports and was a member of the Hawks cross country team that qualified for the Iowa State Cross Country Championships…class Valedictorian and member of the National Honor Society…son of Jason and Gretchen Wenger.
