The 2025-26 season will be Dan's third as head coach for both the men's and women's bowling teams. He is a 2001 graduate of Luther who led the Norse to a successful first year of competition for both squads. The Norse played in 10 tournaments from October to February that were held in Iowa, Wisconsin and Las Vegas, Nevada.
An active bowler who has played in a number of leagues in the Decorah area, Dan has also been active in the growth of bowling working with Youth Mentoring Bowl-a-Thon, an organization that serves families and children, in Winneshiek, Allamakee and Howard counties.
