Men's Swimming and Diving Places 4th at Luther Invitational

The 2025 Luther Invitational is in the books. Gustavus Adolphus College won the team title with (980) points, followed by UW-Whitewater (572) Augustana-Rock Island (541.5) and Luther (501) that rounded out the top four. There were seven teams in the field.

Day Two Recap:
Colin Halverson posted Luther's only first place finish this afternoon on the one-meter board. Halverson posted (441) points during his 11 dive routine. Amir Womack was runner-up with (395.15).

Day One Recap:
Owen McCredie headlined the Norse efforts today. He reset the school record in the 100 IM. His time of (53.72) in the prelims broke his old mark of (55.52) set late last year. McCredie finished third in the A-Finals clocked at (53.98). He also placed second in the 200 IM (1:57.61). His time of (1:57.22) in the prelims of this event ranks fifth all-time. 

Colin Halverson won the men's 3-meter (11 Dives) competition with a point total of (451.35). This is the second time he has posted and NCAA Cut (425) in this event so he has now qualified for the NCAA III Regional Diving Competiion that will be held in February. 

Amir Womack placed third in this same event finishing with (389.85) points. 

Samuel Schleicher posted a runner-up finish in the 500 freestyle (4:50.54).
