CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Luther men's bowling team took to the lanes for the first time in program history. The team competed at the Mid Iowa Bowling Conference Meet #1 on Saturday, October 14 through 15. Overall the team finished ninth with a total score of 6548. In the individual competition,
Jayz Estridge led the Norse with a total of 902 for a 180 average through five games and finished 36th.
The newest addition, etched its program history into the record books with its first ever competition. The two-day meet was comprised of a team and individual competition.
Luke Orton finished 37th with a total of 899 and a 179 average. Then
Grady Brauer in 47th with a total of 828 for an average of 165.
Ramses Godinez was 50th bowling 810 for an average of 162. And
Logan Bown rounded out the team in 65th with 703 total and average of 140. Each of the individuals bowled five games.
