The American Rivers Conference has announced that senior Shelby Cook (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy) has been named the league's women's tennis Performer of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, April 24, 2022. This is the sixth time during her career she has been so honored.
Cook went 2-0 at No. 4 Singles and 1-1 at No. 1 Doubles on the week.
In singles, she defeated Morgan Graf of UW-La Crosse (7-5, 6-1) and Grace Rider of Augustana-Rock Island (6-3, 6-1).
In doubles play, Cook partnered with freshman Julia Moreno (Itajai, Brazil) and together defeated Kimberly Steiner and Kellie Hierl of UWL (8-5) and lost to Caitlyn Hanulikova and Lily Schoeck of ARI (8-6).
Cook is a three-time All-Conference singles performer and four-time All-Conference doubles performer.
Luther wrapped up its regular season schedule with an overall record of 16-10.
