The American Rivers Conference has announced that Luther College junior Charlie Rubendall (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle) has been named the baseball Performer of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022. This is the first time of his career he has been so honored.
Rubendall helped lead Luther to an opening season double header sweep of Cornell College on Sunday, Feb. 27 in Topeka, Kansas. The Norse won game one 11-10 and the nightcap 18-4 in seven innings.
Rubendall was 7-of-10 at the plate with five RBIs. He was also credited with six runs scored, one double, two triples and three bases.
